Meet our amazing Vice-Chairperson: Ethan Luong (he/him), a Grade 12 student from Port Credit Secondary School! Ethan and I met for the first time at a MYAC connect in grade 10, so perhaps it’s destiny that we became the Chairs. Despite his small stature, Ethan has big ambitions. Apart from being a leader in MYAC, he is the Captain of his robotics team, FRC 1325, and the Co-President of the SciTech Student Council at PCSS. In his free time, you can find him collecting CDs or plating up a new dish. From listening to his struggles with getting a job (he’s finally a lifeguard), to gingery teahouse talks and discovering the acorn collection in his backpack, he’s cemented himself as the strangest and most genuinely kind person I know. Ethan is Vice in letters only. In practice, there’s no one else I’d rather be Co-Chairs with. -Connie
